  • 1 hour bottle to throttle
you don't need to pump and dump either. anyone who tells you to doesn't understand the body. unless you haven't waited long enough for the alcohol to metabolize out, and you are going to burst if you don't pump, there is no reason to pump and dump. just wait 1 hour per serving of alcohol and you will be fine.

  • you dont have to wait at all pretty much. when i left the hospital my nurses were telling me that if i wanted a drink to have it right after i fed my DD and by the next feeding everything would be fine and out of my system! so youre good! as long as your not feelin tipsy at all then dont worry. oh yeah, my nurses also said to have a beer to help increase milk supply, the yeast in it helps. so one beer is definitely not going to do anything so relax hun!!

  • I'm not sure how long it takes to metabolize out, but I know they sell milk test strips for alcohol now so if you have a drink you can test your milk. I really didn't drink at all while I was nursing, until I started to lose my milk and someone suggested that I drink a beer...something about the yeast. OH MAMA! My boobs were full the next day I couldn't stand it. Be prepared to pump anyway even if you feed because I made so much milk it was crazy.

  • My own doctor told me if the milk production was low to drink a beer. It does not harm the baby and the yeast in it cause the milk glands to start producing more. My ex-sister in law did this when she was breastfeeding and it worked!! I would say give your body an hour.
As for aintoproud....you aint much on the smart side are you?? Don't point your finger and judge what you don't know---IDIOT!!!

  • You don't have to wait. I also was told to drink a beer if I didn't have enough milk. Have a beer. Just watch how many. LOL
