What is a good, supportive bra for large-busted women?

I am a 44 DD and I have such a hard time finding a bra that lifts and holds up and supports well. Any suggestions?

  • I love Victoria's Secret but they only have bras for up to 38DD that I have found. I am a 38DDD and they have great bras here too. Have you ever heard of the Butterfly Bra by Ashley Stewart? www.ashleystewart.com  www.lanebryant.com  www.avenue.com  www.justmysize.com  www.fashionbug.com

  • I carry a lot of weight in my chest -- especially while pregnant -- hands down the best (and most affordable) site I know is www.ladygrace.com Many bras are at or under $35. As a woman thats paid more then $75 dollars trying to find my size... I was thrilled. They carry bras up to an "L" cup, including some very large nursing bras. I can't say enough about them. The staff is very friendly and helpful, if you call they can make recommendations. Also, as a side - Lane Bryant carries up to an H cup now. Might be worth checking out when you're in a pinch, but I like the online selection at Lady Grace, more.

  • Delta Burkes Bras.. OMG, totally GodSend, they are comfy, and full of support, i love them for another reason, because when you wear a sleek top, you cant see any lines, or wire poking thru your shirt, and her panties are great too... good luck, I'm a 42DDD i usually get my bras at Ross, cause i never have paid more than 6 bucks for a bra, even for the bali's that I buy there too .

  • I'm a 44DDD. I feel your pain, literally. I really like the bras from Lane Bryant. They have them with and without underwire, and I've actually falled in lurve with the non-underwire type. It's miraculous to not have that damned wire come out and poke you in the underarm flab.

    They have sales often, too.

  • I'm a 38 DD and I have shopped everywhere for the perfect bra. I've been to at least 15 stores to try them on and I've wasted so much money searching for the perfect bra. I've tried bras in the $20 - $200 range and I finally found the perfect one at Gap Body. I don't know the name of the bra, but the sales lady recommended it as soon as I said that I was DD. This is the only bra in the last year that I bought and actually liked after washing it and wearing it for several hours. Good luck!

  • I am going to suggest a bunch of styles for you.

This Wacoal style is truly an awesome bra for a fuller bust. I highly recommend trying it.

Two more great styles that are not as expensive
