Should I serve alcohol to adults at a first birthday party?

my family are drinker, and so is my husbands. Not big drinkers but like to have a few socially. Do you think it is ok to get some beer for my DS first birthday? I think that if it is socially it is fine.

  • It was and will always be my policy "No Alcohol at my sons birthday parties" the party is for a child not for adults. Sure adults attend the party but if you need alcohol that badly then Please go elsewhere.

  • We served alcohol at our sons 1st birthday and it was fine. If you do limit yourself in buying alcohol cause it can get pretty expensive when it comes down to it. Ask people to BYOB if they want.
