What's a good barbecue pulled pork recipe for a crockpot?

I'm having about 20 family members over for my daughters #2 birthday.  I wanted to cook something out of the crockpot , which I never do.  Any help?

  • This is my favorite BBQ pork recipe, for get togethers I return it to the crockpot and keep in on the warm setting until everyone is ready to eat. I also like to toast the buns lightly in the oven. Very yummy recipe.
1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
    3 pounds boneless pork ribs
1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce

Pour can of beef broth into slow cooker, and add boneless pork ribs. Cook on High heat for 4 hours, or until meat shreds easily. Remove meat, and shred with two forks. It will seem that it's not working right away, but it will.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Transfer the shredded pork to a Dutch oven or iron skillet, and stir in barbeque sauce.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until heated through.

  • its virtually impossible to mess up a crock pot recipe that why i love using it. The pp recipe is pretty standard and you can tweak it if you like. Try adding diced onions and bacon cut in to tiny peices with a little borwn sugar or honey. play with it you really cant go wrong

  • pork shoulder + one bottle BBQ sauce + juice of one orange, cook until meat is tender. I used this for my son's birthday party and it was gone in 60 seconds.
