  • I have always bought the Dollar General Store brand diapers called Ultra Premium Diapers. My oldest would get horrible diaper rashes when I used Huggies, Pampers, or Luvs. In my opinion, the Ultra Premium Diapers leak less often than those name brand diapers do and yes they are cheap. My youngest is using them now and they even have Clifford the Big Red dog on them!

  • We just use Huggies. We tried all other kinds but he just leaked or they didn't fit right.

  • I use Parents Choice from Wal mart. Its like 14 dollars for a box of 92 diapers (size 4). If youre baby is smaller than a 4, then theres more that comes in the box. But i do like those diapers. They hold alot of pee! I barely have any night time leaks.

  • I personally like Luvs or White Cloud diapers because they seem to leak the least out of all of them and they are cheap.

  • I also agree with stampmama. I buy the box of Parents Choice diapers as well. Excellent at preventing leaks and does last through the night. The Luvs, Huggies, and Pampers always leaked on me or she would pee once in them and they would sag plum down to her knees. The Parents Choice and Ultra Premium brands don't do that

  • If you are looking to save money, go with cloth diapers. Your up front investment can seem daunting but in the long run, you could be spending 300-500 dollars as opposed to $2000 or more over the course of diapering. And if you still have disposables from your shower, you could buy a few cloth diapers here and there to break up the cost (basically use the money you'd have been spending on disposables to build up your cloth stash). You'll also be spending less on diaper rash creams since cloth allows more air to get to baby's little bum.
