And what do you use to organize them in??

  • My son loves to paint, so it is something that we do for fun and to make gifts for grandmas and aunts. We have painted everything from canvas, bird houses, christmas ornaments, etc. We just use regular non toxic paints and then will have the hubby take the finished product out to spray on a clear coat that will keep the paint from running if it gets wet.

  • Try the official Crayola website for tons of ideas crafts and coloring. At Crayola.com. My kids love to make play dough too and use cookie cutters to play with it. If you google homemade play dough there are a ton of recipes even some that are edible. I keep it for weeks in sandwich bags. Check out plastic storage containers at Target or Wal-mart for all of their supplies...clear ones are best to find everything. Hope ya have a lot of fun!

  • this isn't really a craft but using sidewalk chalk outside is so much fun. they can be as messy as they want to be. on themselves and the sidewalk and then you just wash it away.

  • my sister loved to use foamies with her LO. They are pre cut pieces of thin colored foam. He would glue them together into different shapes or on paper or on paper mache boxes that you can buy.

  • I would take my kids out on nature walks and collect leaves, flowers, acorns, small branches and make nature art. We would glue are treasures on cardboard and make beautiful works of art!
