  • actually mayo does help, egg, and beer too. I know it sounds weird but the yeast in beer makes your hair really healthy and soft.

  • I love FrizEase. IT makes your hair soft and nice and very easily styleable.

  • I would get a deep conditioner from a salon.. leave it for 2-5 minutes.. and just let it soak in. I would also use a dry damaged styling cream during the day to help with the dryness. ~Kristin~

  • Friz-Ease is awesome! I got a bad perm once and was able to "straighten" it simply by using this product. Also, though, make sure to condition the ends of your hair everyday, but only use shampoo every other day (no matter what product you are using). I have used the VO5 (and other oil treatments), mayonaise and beer, and other things. These do work, but only temporarily. The only thing I've found to bring about a perm. change is conditioning every day, shampooing every other (especially if you have hard water).

  • I've found that olive oil isn't just for cooking! I use it for cooking, a moisturizer, and tada - to help with my hair when it sometimes gets dry!

    Get 1/2 cup olive oil...
Rinse your hair with warm water. Then put 1 tablespoon of olive oil in your hands (rub to 'warm' it) then use your fingertips to gently massage it into your scalp. Continue doing it until your entire scalp is covered, then rub the remaining of the 1/2c oil into the ends of your hair. Then you can either let this sit as is for 45 minutes, OR if you can go and buy a plastic shower cap (this is the best way!) and put it over your hair for at least 30 minutes. Rinse well then shampoo it out.

It works wonders for me :)

  • I use a protein enhanced conditioner (Cashmere). After shampooing, towel dry hair and put on conditioner. Cover your hair with a plastic cap then cover the cap with a towel. Leave on 30 minutes, then rinse out. Style as usual. Good luck!

  • If you soak your hair with sesame seed oil over nite with a towel or a shower cap on your head...you will be amazed in the morning!!! It will take some shampoo to get it all out...but it is worth the effort. You can find the oil in the bath area at Wal-Mart.

  • Arbonne has an awesome hair mask in their new SeaSource Spa line. I use it after I go swimming and it makes my hair feel amazing! It is so soft and smooth.
