  • If you have a loveless marriage either get counseling or get divorced. Cheating is illegal, immoral and inexcusable under all circumstances.

  • I'm in the middle of a divorce now, but I still wouldn't even consider cheating.
Yes, I left him, and no, not because of either one cheating!
If someone wants a "new" relationship...get out of the "old one" first!

  • No. If there is no love in the marriage, I would get divorced. If your circumstances have changed, perhaps you should. Don't use there being no love in your marriage as an excuse for cheating. Even if there is no love, there could be feelings. Feelings get hurt.

  • Its NEVER OKAY TO CHEAT! My marraige is a mess at times and my husband cheated on one of those times and got the other woman pregnant...the amount of heart ache and pain im going through is terrible and i wouldnt wish it on anyone. You need to leave your husband and get a divorce of you dont want him anymore.

  • I think it's amazing how many people immediately jump to saying "get a divorce"

An unhappy marriage or a divorce are NOT your only two options!!! You don't have to up and run out on a marriage just because the ideal situation didn't fall into your lap. Disney lied to us, okay? Marriage takes WORK! A prince doesn't just show up and rescue us and pamper us and give us a "happily ever after."

What are we teaching our kids when we bail out on the most important commitment we ever made?? Then we expect them to keep their promises and somehow turn into loyal people after learning from OUR example of jumping ship when things get tough??

If he's beating you, leave. ABSOLUTELY you should leave.

But otherwise, don't kid yourself into thinking you're doing what's 'best' for your kids by getting a divorce. You aren't.

  • No. But if you are still there, it's not completely loveless. Obviously you love him enough to ask yourself this question, but you already know the answer. You need to try to communicate with him how you feel. Trapped, Ignored, Avoided, Criticized, Unloved, Hated, whatever you feel. It must mean that you feel he doesn't love you - not the other way around - or you'd be gone. You want to cheat because you want to feel loved. Try to find a way to express your desire to your husband.

  • No, I don't think it's ok. I was there in my first marriage and that's why we're divorced. There's no need to stay married if there's no love anymore. Plus, it's not healthy for your kids.
