I never did, but I can see why you used it. Some babies have sensitive skin, and can have reactions to regular soap. I would think that after 6 weeks that it would be okay b/c if you use regular soap on your clothes, she should be used to it by now.

I only used it a very short time. The doctors told me to try and run the rinse cycle twice to be sure all the soap was out of the clothes and since then, I've never needed it.
I never used the expensive baby stuff. I just used the extra rinse cycle and her pediatrician said that should be fine as long as her skin wasn't super sensitive. Then at about a year I quit using the extra rinse cycle. She's fine.

I'm still using it. I guess whenever you want to stop.. I actually like it..
I didn't use it with my bous but have to use it with my grandson. He has terrible allergies, asthma and eczema. I don't by the expensive 'Baby' stuff. I use All free and clear. It is exactly the same stuff. No dyes, no perfumes etc. I think Cheer and Tide are now making 'free and clear' formulas too.
