What baby bottles do you like best?

I have an 18 month old but cant decide what bottles to use this time around!! The avents leaked horrible for me. Sooties look interesting and I have heard good things about the drop ins bottles but I am just at a loss for what to go with for some reason!! What did you use and why did you like it or not like it!

  • Hands down, Aveno bottles are the best. They last for along time too. I have never had any problems with them either.OOH- you said that the Aveno bottles leaked. That happens if you tighten the top on the bottle too tight(happened to me several times). But the second best is gerber. I would reccomend getting a munchkin bottle cleaner for that thpe of bottle since it is longer than a aveno bottle.

  • Well my daughter was EBF for a year and the only way I could get her off the breast was with the Playtex drop-in bottles with the brown nipple. My son was EBF then at 6 wks I was dignosed with cancer and we had to switch to bottle. Well we are still using the Avent Drop In with him. I don't have the leak problem you were speaking of. Maybe you are doing something wrong, because they have leaked with my husband as well lol!! good luck!

  • Well now with the BPA and all that coming out from plastic bottles, I have switched to Playtex Dropins, not only for that reason, but my daughter was getting way too much air from the regular bottles...I used NUK bottles with her at first but she was so gassy and constipated and had way too many tummy aches...so I switched her formula and bottles and she is a much happier baby now and can actually go a day without so much gas and tummyaches. Plus I was getting sick of washing out bottles all the time at least this way I just throw away the liners and that's all..just wash the nipples every now and then.

  • I've used 3 diff types of bottles, all depending on what the baby would take, my oldest used gerber bottles, my second used playtex, and third and fourth used avent. also avent just came out with a disposable liner bottle, maybe you should check that out. I also occ have prob with the leaking of the avent bottles, but it is usually because the lid is on too tight and the rubber from the nipple flexes off the collar I believe.

  • I personally use the parents choice bottles without BPA (BPA free). Due to there being a cancer risk in many other bottles.

  • I tried my boys out on many different ones and they chose the one that they liked by taking it or not taking it. It ultimatley is their choice. You can pick the most expensive and best out there but if they wont take it...what's the point. Good Luck!

  • i want to nurse but with my dd i tried for 3 months and had to supplement from day 3 with a bottle (dr's orders she lost 16% of her weight and was severely jaundiced) I did it every feeding, breast for 10 min each side then a bottle. Milk never came in so after 3 months I quit. I am going to try again but want bottles to be ready if needed. Also bc I want to pump if I can to allow dd and hubs to feed baby too! Its improtant to my husband to get that bonding tiem too!
