  • You should never mix amonia with bleach! Use one or the other, but not both together. I love the Lysol scents. Or try something with baking soda added. I have 3 boys not including my SO....I just clean my bathroom ever other day. LOL

  • Ditto what moodymama said! My mother mixed clorox and amonia while cleaning her oven once. She ended up burning her lungs and lucky it wasn't worse! My bathrooms are always "dirty". I use clorox to clean and it does help with odor. Perhaps air fresheners (although not a cleaning solution) to help them smell fresh!

  • Mr clean magic erasers are awesome for bath tub scum. I would clean with bleach or lysol to get rid of the smell. Do not mix magic erasers with bleach or lysol. Scrub the soap scum one day then use bleach on the floors, toilet, where ever the next day.

  • Don't clean with bleach AND ammonia unless you want to severly hurt yourself. Use one OR the other and keep it ventilated. But do NOT mix the two!

  • Do NOT mix ammonia and bleach EVER........ use tea tree oil and water.... it's strong at first, but the best deodorizer out there....and for added measure buy some cheap-o charcoal (the clump kind - not briquettes) and sprinkle them with tea tree oil and put them under cabinets and in closets, etc (of course always put the charcoal in a plate or something to keep it from getting black on surfaces). You'll get used to the smell of tea tree oil.... I promise.
