How do I tame frizzy hair?

I HAVE WAVY HAIR AND WHEN I WASH IT,IT GETS POOFY AS IT DRIES. I LET IT AIR DRY AND I WASH IT EVERY 2 DAY'S BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO STRIP IT OF IT'S NATURAL OILS. WHAT CAN I USE TO CONTROL THE ''POOF''? SOME DAYS IT LOOKS GOOD BUT OTHER DAYS (LIKE TODAY) IT DOESN'T. I TRY ALL OF THE BEST PRODUCTS AND NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANX IN ADVANCE.

  • I have the same problem with my hair. I just recently tried organic coconut oil and am very happy with the results. Not the hair products but the natural stuff you find in the health food section of the grocery store used for baking. You'll have to warm it up a little because it's as hard as a rock otherwise. Take some and massage it through your hair before you plan to shower. I had to shampoo my hair twice under really hot water and then condition as usual. At first my hair felt like it was going to be greasy but it dried really nice, it solved the puffiness and gave it a healthy looking shine.

  • Garnier or Pantene for smooth and sleek. . Wash and condition with appr. shampoo and cond. then rinse. Towel out the water and pick thru damp. Organics has a line called coconut milk. Walmart carries it. Shampoo, and leave in defrizz conditioning cream, plus coconut oil! Use any leave in smoothing conditioner and put it in your damp hair finger seperating. Then top off with mousse Scrunch use Tressemme green label working spray lightly and you should have soft no frizz hair. Tresemme is a great line and they also just came out with a whole new line of products for those of us with coarse, curly and puffy hair.

  • KelsoBabeyy, I don't remember exactly where I read about it, I was interested and did some research on it and wanted to try it. I got a jar for between 7-8 bucks. It's good for your skin too, although it makes your skin shiny, lol.

  • Try a spray you can apply after washing hair with a good shampoo & conditioner then apply this eupohria spray and the serum by euphoria as well & it will definately tame your hair. Alittle of the serum goes a long way. You can find it at a professional salon or I believe on-line.
