  • my daughter didnt have one past 8 months..so just get rid of both of them..they dont NEED them..and the younger you take away, the easier it is..im sorry but i hate when im out and i see children over 1 with pacifiers in their mouths..theyre not little babies..they dont need them! parents say they are "securtiy" for the children..WHATEVER! its cuz they dont wanna deal with a fussy baby so they stick it in the kids' mouths to shut them up!!! sorry if thats rude..but its MY opinion

  • when there ready. my 3 yr old still uses it but mostly for naps and bedtime. everyone tells me to get rid of it and trust ive tried but it comforts her. Its like her security blanket and im NOT taking that away from her its not harming her health so i dont see the problem.

  • for some yes it will make your teeth messed up but with or with out binkis kids teeth are gonna be messed up and get braces sooner or later. my daughters teeth are a little seperated but not drastically crooked all over the place. i mean if the kids teeath are horribly bad then yea take him off it. but like i said if theres a little gap or a minor over bite then theres no reason to stress yourself out or your child. just dont let them be on the binki when those new teeth come it!!lol

  • Thank God the binky fairy came to our house and took the binkies to the babies that need them.

  • My son was addicted to his up until almost 2 years old. We told him that it was time for it to go, and if we could throw the pacifier away that we would go to walmart and buy him a toy. It worked...but bribery usually works with him!!!

  • I wouldn't worry about their teeth right now, they are just baby teeth, they will get adult teeth later on. just because there is a gap now doesn't mean that there will be one in their adult teeth.

  • here is my opinion i agree with alexis 06 my older son is 4 now he has crown on hes teeth now hes dentist is sure that it was from the pacifier ..so now he has this silver smile not cute..if u keep ur kids with a pacifier over a 1 year off age ur making them believe that they r still baby's kids over 1 with a pacifier look ridicules with 1 when u take it away they r only gonna be fuzzy for a Lil while it eventually ends up for the good off ur kids

  • In my opinion they are both too old for it! So kill two birds with one stone and break them both at the same time.... it will surely be easier that way!

  • I say if you take one you have to take the other. I did that with my two sons~ the baby was one and the other was two and it was with the bottle, I took them both away at the same time. I told them we had to give them to another family who had a little baby and he needed them.
