How do you remove an ink pen stain?

my idiot brother threw some of his clothes in with my daughters brand new clothes and now they are covered in blue ink. ive tried loads of oxyclean with hot water and lots of soap but nothing. im really upset because she hasnt gotten to wear them yet and now they are ruined. i dont have 30 bucks to replace them either or i would.

  • shout with resolve, let it set up on the stains. also have you tried making a paste from the oxyclean? like mostly oxyclean, very little water and rub it in to the stain, even with a toothbrush to get it in the stain well

I'm gonna guess the idiot brother dried them too? :) that's what my hubby would have done LOL so they are more set in right?

  • This just happend to me last week. I had clothes that I had sold on ebay, And I alwys wash them right before I mail them,,Yea there was a black pen in there somehow? Stll yet to know how that happend. Anyhow,,I used the shout gel scrubby thing. It worked, Don't dry them. I had to wash several times in a row and reapeat the whole process, But it worked. I also used the bleach pen for what I could use it on. BTW the close where pink and white...Good luck

  • sometimes tooth paste will take it out. I know you said you tried oxyclean but try it again about 4 xtimes as strong as they say and just soak in the sink. I have gotten some really toughy stains out like that.

  • I don't know if it will work since it has been dried already, but if you spray ink with hairspray it comes right out.
