Do you have a chicken recipe for the crock pot?

Does anyone have any good ideas or recipes for cooking chicken in the crock pot that they'd like to share. I have some chicken that I need to use up in the fridge. Actually any good chicken recipes you are wanting to share with me: baked, fried, slow cooked :-)

  • lol here is a super easy one lol...get a bottle of bbq sauce put the ck in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over it and let it slow cooke for 8 hours on low or 5 on high

  • Brown the chicken and then add it to the slow cooker with cream of mushroom soup and chicken stock. Add celery salt, sage, and fresh ground black or white pepper. Cook about 4-5 hours on high, until chicken is tender. Serve over rice.

  • Here is mine.

    1 stick of butter, 4 chicken breasts, italian seasoning in crock pot on low (4hrs if chicken is thawed, 8 if frozen)
    1 hr before serving, shred chicken, put back in crock pot with can of cream of chicken soup and package of philadelphia cream cheese.
    cook one package of bowtie pasta, drain, add to crock pot, serve.

    My family loves it.

  • i made this up, looking for something my 10mo daughter could share...
    i threw in a can of chicken stock, 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, some carrots, celery and green beans. i didn't have potatoes, or i would have added them. then i threw in onion salt, garlic powder, mrs. dash table blend, a little mustard powder, and italian herbs. cook for a few hours on high, then add some star pasta. i don't measure, but it seemed to be about 1/2 cup. i kind of wanted it to be a little runny knowing the leftovers would need the moisture. turn on low, cook maybe 30 minutes. after the pasta is cooked it's ready! basically, you can make up your own thing here with just a good stock of cream of whatever soups, chicken stock, herbs and spices. i make up my own dishes this way, using up whatever veggies we have in the freezer. i love how chicken is so versatile this way!

  • Creamy Chicken Soft Tacos or Burritos

    4 frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    1 (16 oz.) jar salsa (your favorite)
    1 cup sour cream
    6-8 flour tortillas

    Place chicken in greased crock pot. Pour salsa on top. Cover and cook on high 6-8 hours, or low 10-12 hours. One hour before cooking is done shred chicken by pulling apart with two forks, and stir in sour cream.

    Put chicken mixture in flour tortillas with your favorite taco/burrito toppings. (We find that we need more like 10 shells...it makes A LOT of chicken. We use black beans, and cheese with the chicken mix to make burritos.)

  • This is so easy put the chicken in the cp and pour Italian dressing over them and let them cook! It is really good!
