How do you make meatloaf in the crock pot?

  • Easy Crock-Pot MeatloafMakes: 6-8 servings Total Time: 8 hr 30 min
    Category: Beef, Pork & Other Meat Dinners Sub Category: Slow Cooker/Crock-Pot Dishes
    2 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
    3 eggs
    Salt & pepper
    1 box Stove Top Stuffing, any flavor
    1/2 cup tomato juice
    1/2 cup ketchup
    Preparation Mix meat, eggs, salt & pepper, and stuffing mix. Form into bottom of crock-pot. Cook on low for about 4 hours.

    Pour tomato juice on top of loaf and finish cooking on low for another 3-4 hours.

    Spread ketchup over top and let cook on low for another 30 minutes. This will be the time to start your other sides for a wonderful dinner! Enjoy!

  • Ritz cracker are a great filler for meatloaf! Substitute for the breadcrumbs. You crumble them up with a rolling pin or a can, however you like. I use about 1/2 packet per lb of hamburg.
    1 lb hamburg to 1/2 packet of ritz crackers
    onion to your liking or onion powder (my kids don't like the texture of onions)
    1 egg
    couple shakes of worcestershire sauce
    ketchup...a good amount to moisten the mixture
    Mix all together and bake in a loaf pan @ 375 for 40 minutes

    Mix and shape and cook on low in crockpot (not sure how long as I've never done it. monitor, or I would say at least 6 hours).
