  • yes and no :)

my cycle always starts on the full moon, so that's when my 2 sons were born. My daughter wasn't but that's because she came early due to lots of stress.

my theory- women are very lunar based so it would make sense that the moon can affect us :)

  • My mom was a labor and delivery nurse for many years, and they always staffed extra nurses (or had extras on call) on shift when there was a full moon. They also kept track of major snow storms and staffed heavy about 9 months later.

  • I asked my mom about this (she's been a nurse for 25 years). She said it may sound stupid, but from her experience, full moons DO make some women go into labor. It's something about the tides and pressure changes, it does things to some people's bodies. I don't have any medical proof to back what she says up...but whatever, maybe someone will lol.

  • The full moon does many things to people. It's even talked about in the bible in regards to "lunatics" during a full moon.

  • I think that it can definitely affect women that way. It also makes all the men I know turn into total jerks. I swear every time there is a full moon, my fiance and my dad turn into jerks. Along with all my male friends. If its just a coiencedence then its a huge one! lol.

  • The day I had my guy it turned out to be a full moon that night. Every time a baby was born they would play a little music thing and that thing was going off all day and night. My guy was born at 11:01pm and it rang two times after he was born even. They had to open up surgery rooms for normal delivery. It was insane.
