  • Both Posters above are correct, the only way to get the smell out of the bathroom is to clean it and if there is a window open up the window. By washing the rugs, shower current etc you're removing the dirt that has built up and can trap an odor, by cleaning the sink tub etc you're doing the same thing. It will smell great when you go in there to use it. Don't forget the trash can soak it in bleach if you have to it can add to the smell if the trash can itself is filthy after removing the garbage bag.

  • i would just clean it good with a nice smelling cleaner. i really like the way mr clean smells, especially the orange and yellow bottles. wash all bath mats and towels and make sure that the trash is cleaned up. it's probably the toilet mishaps and dirty mats/towels making that smell.

  • Try washing the rugs if there is any in the bathroom & then I would febreze everything in there. I would also go & get those toilet cleaners that you put in the back tank that makes the water blue so that the bowl has something in there for future occurrences.

  • Check out the grout around the toilet! Boys, big & Little sometimes over or under "shoot" and urine hits that grout. Hit it with some clorox spray or even just the regular stuff and an old toothbrush. If the boys are little, provide some "Targets" after you clean it up(cheerios work really well). They pay attention to where they "shoot" and have fun too...don't forget the FLUSH!

  • As mom and stepmom of 3 little boys, I was going to say exactly what Starnana said. Oh, and check the walls. My stepbabies think it's funny to "aim" for the seashells on the wallpaper, apparently.

  • My guess is it's little boy pee at the base of the toilet. I'd clean the rug if there's one and clean the floor really good.

  • My bathroom kept having that "pee" smell after i cleaned it repeatedly. I got this idea and it turned out to really help...I took the toilet seat off and cleaned by where the seat is screwed on at the back there. There was a lot of old yucky under there. I used bleach cleaner and also cleaned the holes where the screws go. It really did help.
