What is the best way to clean my tile floors?

My floors are tile with a brownish red color. They need a real good scrubbing and was wonder what would be the best cleaner to use that would not hurt my floors.

  • I have a hand-held scrubber, and roughly about 4 times a year I roll up my sleeves and scrub my tile/laminate floors with my normal cleaner, Mr. Clean. I think it works better than my steam vacuum cleaner, because you can really focus on every little bit of your floor. It keeps very well in between cleanings.

But maybe I'm just OCD. :-)

  • On my bathroom and kitchen floors, (the only 2 tiled, rest are hardwood) I use either spic & span or lysol to mop, for the corners or hard to reach areas of the rooms I will use my scrub brush... afterwards I will use a wax to seal it... this keeps it cleaner a bit longer...

  • This sound so crazy, this lady I cleand for, would use on the tile floor, she would sweep well and use HOT water and about a cup of White vingar, it removes all the build up and it is natural, it also leave the floor extremly shiny. I mop my floors with pin soil 3 times a week or as needed and once a week, I do the hot water and vinagar. You will love it,
