Should I heat my baby's bottles?
OK...In the hospital, they gave my baby room temp bottles. I was always told that you warm them. What do you do?

When my daughter was a baby i always heated them up but eventually let them ge to room temp so that when we were out of the house she didn't throw a fit for them to be hot.

Room temp is best. That way the baby does not mind if they aren't warm. I have a pickey 4 year old who insists his milk be warmed. I did warm my first baby's bottles, but you don't have to, and it is not necessary.

When my daughter was a baby I would boil water put it in the bottle and cover them (left them on the counter) then when I needed to make a bottle I would just mix the power in with it. Once she got older she actually liked cold formula.

I almost always heated up the bottles. If they were cold my children would not drink them.

you don't have to warm them. We warmed them for a long time until we realized she liked them just as much room temperature. Some babies prefer warmed one so it all depends on what your baby will drink.

i had my son taking them cold or room temp, but then he stayed over a his grandmas house for a few days and she would pop them in the microwave yes i know this is a bad i have told her so but now that is the only way he will take them warm almost hot. I have a filter on my tap water so i can heat it there.
Depends on the child and how you make the bottle. they learn what they like.

Room temp is fine or I would soak the bottle in a cup of hot tap water for a couple minutes. Don't microwave formula or breastmilk. It takes away important nutrients and it's also harmful to microwave plastic.
