  • My daughter was getting really big for one, she was a 9 lber! for two her due date was the day my hubby started a new school semester in college. So we really wanted to have her home before he had to jump right into heavy studies. We decided it would be best so we both could be home and enjoy her and I could get his help for the first week. So our Doctor said it would be fine if thats what we wanted and so on. We were induced 8 days before her due date. We really enjoyed it.

  • How do I make my doctor induce me? I'm not good at being pregnant, 37 weeks, and he's estimated at 8.5-9 pounds. I'm literally falling apart. They put me on Zoloft and it's helping with the emotional side of it (I'm bi polar) but as far as physically I've reached my limit. Any ideas?

  • I was induced with my son because he was 3 days past my due date and measuring around 8 lbs. I just wanted him the hell out of there, he was punching my cervix and sciatic nerve and it HURT! They were going to induce my daughter because her water was low (?), but I went into labor unexpectedly 2 weeks before my due date.

  • Wow babyspots, wow!! I was 4 days late and he was comfortable. He was measuring at 9 lbs. and I could have waited but I didn't want to risk it. He was actually 9 lbs. exactly and we had some issues during delivery.

  • i was having blood pressure issues so i was having NSTs, but while there ds had a deceleration in his heart rate, after being monitored at the hospital adn his heartrate doing it several more times and then my blood pressure shooting up they decided to induce. I ended up with a c-section because he wasn't handling labor very well. Inductions increase the risk of a c-section, which is why I didn't want to be induced in the first place, but whatever is best for the baby right?
