Plus I have to take care of my 15 months old daughter and I don't want her to get sick, so I need to start taking something asap. Plus being pregnant I don't know if I can take anything or not. • Robitussin is okay to take so is sudafed (that makes me gitterty so I dont take it) if you go to your pharmacy, they can tell you what to take. Good Luck and I hope you feel better.

  • Plain regular red-tabs of sudafed. None of the "night time" or special formulas. Just the original.

  • Taking cold medicine wont prevent your daughter from potentially getting a cold.

You dont need to take anything..just uptake how much fruits and leafy greens you are getting to help with energy.

And try to get plenty of rest.

  • Ask a pharmacist, they will be able to tell you what is safe to take while you are pregnant. They are doctors in their fields, so its not like you are asking a stock clerk, lol.

  • My doctors told me anything Tylenol was safe when preggo. I took Tylenol Cold and Sinus occasionally and even Tylenol PM once or twice when I threw my back out at 8 months. Dr. said it was fine as long as I wasn't taking it every day. Check with your Ob.

  • Well you better off not taking anything, unless you have fever then take tylenol to bring it down... But I use the old fashioned methods to get better during pregnancy hot tea with lemon and honey(don't put honey in the tea, just eat it while you dring your tea) And if you can drink it here's a good recepie: Cup of hot milk, honey (make it sweet), tip tea spoon of butter and baking soda...mix together drink while hot, drink before bed (best for sore throught and will make you sweat, so you can sweat it out) and ofcorse lots of sleep! And you might wanna use one of those masks to prevent bactiria from spreading, i know it's uncomfortable but at least when you around your baby, Get better!

  • I'm 28 weeks as well. I just don't take anything when I'm sick. Taking something also won't stop your little one from getting sick. Maybe just try to keep yourself comfy, hot tea as the PP mentioned, more rest, have a nice bowl of chicken noodle soup.
