How much can you save by using coupons?

I was just wondering because i would use the sparingly, but since our budget it real tight I have used them alot more. I went grocery shopping last week and spent $150 but after all my coupons my bill came to $89. So i am really loving them right now.

  • My mom and I went shopping to stock my kitchen when I first moved out of my son's fathers house and we spent about $300.00 my mom kept the reciept and totaled what we saved in coupons and it was around $120.00! They add up for sure I think it is so worth cutting them out!

  • I use a combination of coupons, sales ads, saver's cards and off-brands. Every week I'm saving anywhere between $20 to $40 dollars. It helps feeding a family of 7.

  • I feed my family of 4 healthy low cost meals by pretty stringent meal planning I shop at winCo and they don't accept coupons. I also usually buy off-brand items.

  • I dont use coupons too much, but they do save..

We shop at walmart, and walmarts Marketside (not to be confused with neighborhood market, also from walmart)....

We also shop at safeway and have a frequent club card.... we spent $25 on pop, cereal, milk, and some other stuff, and saved $29 ... so without the card it would have been $50 or so.... They had a sale buy 2 get 3 free on 12 packs of pop... i love it! we stocked up lol

  • If a coupon exists for something I definitely use it. So far this year I have saved $2420 between sales and coupons, on groceries and clothing. I use the Shopping Lists at A Full Cup ( They match the sales with the coupons to make alot of items free and cheap.
