What's an easy way to paint striped walls?

My DD's room we are doing in pink and blue stripes. I've tried using a level to draw lines, but it takes forEVER. Is there an easy way or have I screwed myself?

  • I would suggest you measure the distance on the wall top and bottom and mark with a pencil, then get something strait and trace the line and then go carefuly over with painters tape, be careful cause the tape can curve, thats why you need a guide line. but that is going to be a long process and im sure you will still cuss all the way thru, if your set on stripes have you looked into wallpaper? good luck

  • I don't think there is an easy way to do it other then painting the walls the color you want the stripes, when dry add panters tape and repaint the walls another color. When dry slowly peel off tape. When making lines on the wall use a chalk line, it's much easier then a level.
