not to get their little checks for food, but what do you have to do to borrow a breast pump? Or where else can I borrow a quality one from?

  • You may be able to borrow one from the hospital. But, most places will charge you a fee to rent them.

  • i know that if your recieve wic you can borrow a breast pump from them but if your not on wic then im not sure if you can or not. and not every wic office does it or atleast i dont think they do. Try your hospital sometimes they lend them out for a small price or look on craigslist for one lots of peopel sell there good breastpump when they are done and all you would do is buy new tubing for it.

  • I think it all depends on the market that you are in. When I first came home, I rented one for $65/month until I knew for certain that I would use one.

  • In the long run it is better to spend the money and purchase one. I have a friend who bought a pump in style at a yard sale in great condition for 20$ and it is in great working conditon. or check with your local hospital or insurance company.

  • Google freecycle.com for your area. Members give away stuff. You can post a request for a breast pump and see if you can get one for free.

  • If you are a WIC participant and your WIC program provides them then yes, but there are stipulations that may come with it so call your local WIC program.
