What's the best home remedy for a yeast diaper rash?

My son has a double ear infection and RSV. He is on 3 antibiotics. One oral, one in his ear and he got 4 antibiotic shots. We have the perscribed rash cream, but it says only apply 4 times per day and I change him like 4 times an hour! I don't use wipes, and we use cloth diapers. I just browned some flour and put some in his diaper. He is asleep right now. PLEASE let me know of any remedies that you know of that work!! My monkeys bum thanks you in advance ;)

  • Plain yogurt on his bum. I know that it sounds gross but it is likely caused by yeast and yogurt will help with that.

  • never use corn starch if its a yeast rash and thats probably what it is cuz of the antibiotics. Its not a home remedie but when you can put the rash cream on him use aquaphore on him its cheap and you can get it at wal mart. Plus i know hes little but keeping that diaper off for a half hour a day will help it dry up maybe lie him on a old blanket on the floor let the air get to his bum.
