Two words: Bare Minerals

If you use foundation, choose a lightweight one. I think it looks HORRIBLE when you can tell that someone is trying to cover up acne with makeup. I'd rather see a few pimples than all that crap caked on. I've heard that lots of these new mineral makeups work really well. Avon sells some now & I heard it's just as good as the Bare Minerals brand.

Revlon and almay have a blemish cover up in a tube. Neutragena has a foundation for that as well. Any make up with salycilic acid is good cause it covers up as well as heals the acne.

I like mineral make up. I also suffer from acne. I started using Rodan+Fields Dermatology. They have a treatment called UNBLEMISH. It REALLY works! Took away my cystic acne with a week and a half.

Well, first off what are you using to try and clear up your skin? I have had moderate acne all my life (I am 28 now) I have used proactive which helped some as well as every over the counter product. I recently switched to AVONs new acne line-its currently only $29 and I find it to be better that ProActive (for me anyway) my skin has NEVER been this clear. It comes with a wash/scrub, toner in the form of a pad and a topical cream. Even my dermatologyst said my skin has made a drastic improvement.
That said, I am an AVON Beauty Advisor and I love either bare minerals foundations (I use the wet method) or I use AVON Ideal Shade foundation. I still have some scars that are fading over time and for those I use Avon concealer stick. Its all about finding your right shade and BLENDING!!

This is how i do it

first use sally hansons invisible powder treatment you will need a blush brush to apply it

next use clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment apply over whole face this smooths

then i dont know the name of it but all this stuff you can get at wal mart there is a concealer stick that you use over the acne spots let dry for like 3 seconds then use a triangle sponge to kind of smear it over the spot

apply base and go from there i use this method works perfect for me i use liquid with powder base over it and just the liquid my face looks like there is no acne

Maybelline has a great pencil concealer with Salisylic acid...it dries your zits while covering them. Try to use a good quality fine ground mineral foundation. I said fine ground because it'll stay on your skin better ,and not settle in lines and large pores.
