  • Handmade chaos : ) almost every ornament we have has been made in the past years we have a ornament making party every year and the kids decorate the tree so its lopsided, uneven ,overdecorated and the most beautiful thing in my house at Christmas : )

  • When I was in my 20's I used to try to make my tree look like the pretty ones I would see in the mall, (cause I wanted to be in style). Now that I am older and more in tune with tradition and wanting my son to see what I saw as a child and he is 10! I have muticolored lights and since I misplaced my ornaments and my brother moved in with all his ornaments sitting in a bin (and they are cute)! My theme is, I lost my ornaments, want to remind you of my childhood, uncle has a lot of cool ornaments "theme". OUR tree is cool to us. :)

  • Usually we have all white lights with silver and red plain ornaments. Then any other ornaments are our tradition of each year ornaments. My husband and I our first christmas strted either buying an ornament for each other but notmally going out and picking out a unique ornament for that year. We also get one ornament a year per child that way when they move out they will have their own beginning ornament collection. However this year all of our stuff is in storage. I still think it is one of my favorite trees. My skids picked it out, strung popcorn, made decorations. basically everything. The are 13 and 11 years old and have never decorated a christmas tree before. My dh and I never knew until this year.
