Where can I get scrapbooking supplies?

I'm just getting started and don't really know what I'm doing. What should I get to start with?

  • Michael's usually has some good things in their dollar section. Also, keep an eye out for Hobby Lobby's sales. You can get quite a few things 50% off if you go! Make sure to check out Dollar Tree too. They have a small section with patterned papers, scissors, stickers, punches, stamps, glue, paper clips, and such. Get creative!

  • dollar tree, and Dollar Zone if you have one....they usually have some of the same stuff as hobby lobby but 3 or 4 dollars cheaper....I would check all "dollar stores", then Micheal's, then Hobby Lobby!!!

  • I found alot of great stuff at my local Wal-mart. They had a pretty large selection for beginners and they're not very expensive. I also agree that dollar stores and Michael's are also worth checking out for some good deals. Hope this helps! Have fun!

  • I was gonna say dollar general or dollar store or family dollar. They have limited stuff but its cheap. Wal mart & target have better selections and are relatively cheap. once you start going to the scarpbook stores you get expensive.

  • definately hobby lobby, or michaels. They have complete kits with the books, papers, stickers, letters, etc. And if you watch their ads, you can usually find it on sale at one or the other at least once a month, or at michaels, they will have a coupon in their ad

  • You can go to local stores like Michaels, AC Moore, Dollar Tree or WalMart. Have you tried Creative Memories? Check this website out: www.mycmsite.com/grethelroulhac.

I shop from all those places including ebay and craigslist.com.
