  • I had GD with my last two children and was induced at 39 weeks. I was told unless there are serious medical complications they wont do it any sooner. If you have preclampsia, a very large baby & GD, heart problems etc of course they can do it sooner. My babies were both alright but there was a danger in them getting too big & blood sugar dropping to excessively at birth which is why I was induced.

  • no i dont think thats true.. i dont know it for 100% though.. but i had a planned c-section at 37weeks 5days (infection, wasnt able to give birth normal).. so i dont think you can only be induce at 39weeks+...

why would anyone want to be induce anyway.. if there is no medical reason?!
