  • Welcome to the club! I'm a crochet addict so that is my saving grace although it does get tedious at times. I've made a dozen x-mas presents and things like that and watched every movie out there. Thank god for laptops is all I can say! Maybe get into playing one of those on-line role playing games like Worlds of Warcraft or something?

  • When i was on bed rest, i looked up craft projects on the Internet and made them. I'm into scrapbooking so i started getting her scrapbook ready and worked on her baby book. I keep a journal for my daughter and wrote in it weekly (about her kicking, dr appt, . . .) and i still keep it going. I was told that i could go places as long as it wasn't long or strenuous.

  • I feel for you. I have been on bed rest since I was 3 months due to my cervix. Now I am 29 weeks and still on bed rest. I can even stand to look at a book! I started to make him a blanket and watch a lot of tv. I also have spent a lot of time on the internet looking for baby items that are inexpensive. Good luck with everything. If you ever want to chat let me know.

  • What a great time to pick up some new hobbies. I wasnt on bedrest but I quit my job so it pretty much felt like it. I picked up crochet and scrapbooking and started sewing again. made my baby girl a quilt and an afghan. Trust me it makes the time go by much faster. You can pre make pages for things your baby will be doing later on. LIke you can put the stickers decorations and wording for christmas, birthdays all of those special things. And you can also add your sonograms for a couple prebaby pages. Its lots of fun and time flies when your doing something like that.
