  • We usually go out for Christmas dinner with my husbands parents & then we stop in at our close friends house to have a big italian feast! Everyone brings something to the party & there is always more than enough to take home. YUMMY! can't wait.

  • We do just about the same dinner for Christmas as we do for Thanksgiving, just trading out a few dishes. This Christmas we are doing a glazed ham, small turkey, stuffing, dressing, mashed potatoes, asparagus casserole, green bean casserole, cranberry bread, and also we're making baklava (sp?), russian tea cakes, chocolate truffles, and probably some more stuff...

  • about 10 years ago we lost my brother in law and grandfather within a month of each and a within a month of Christmas...so every since then we changed things up a bit. Our Thanksgiving is the big meal and Christmas Eve is homemade soups, breads, cheeses, salads, cabbage rolls and then goodies, pies, and cookies. On Christmas day we have the leftovers from the night before and then add a ham or something simple into the mix. We decided we wanted to spend more time enjoying eachother rather than cooking and then the horrid cleaning...
