  • yes. I have never been a big coffee drinker, but if I go without my one cup a day I cannot function! I do limit my self to no more then 2 a day.

  • Yep sure do and I did when pregnant also. My Ob/Gyn who had just finished his stay at Duke University told me studies showed that caffeine had no ill effects on an unborn baby. He said only people who consume large quanities are at risk but that is true of anyone who drinks too much caffeine in any drinks, not just coffee. If youre planning to just have a cup or two everyday then its perfectly fine because studies have shown there is no link between ADHD or any other disorder & moms who drank coffee or caffeinated beverages.

  • Not while pregnant! I allowed myself to have a Pepsi or two throughout, but that was it! I've only recently started having my one cup a day again, since I'm breastfeeding. You can find a study to support anything you want, I'd rather just be safe than sorry. The latest big things are saying that it increases your risk of miscarriage during the first trimester. There is a certain amount that appears to be ok, but it's too hard to measure (coffeehouse coffee vs. home brew, not to mention the different strengths of different brews, anyway!) so I just cut it ALL out. I waited too long to have a baby to risk doing ANYTHING to harm him. :)
