  • I always use Shout stain remover when I get grease on me while I cook. Also, like the ladies above me said, Dawn may do it. Can you get Greased Lightning? It's a very powerful degreaser, it might take color out of fabric, but it will get grease out of anything. Something else we have used here is Goo Gone, but I'm not sure if that's sold world wide. It is chemical free, but works wonders.

  • If its like that black work grease, you might be doomed. But i would try either shout or spray and wash, and spray it on there real good. Let it set for a little while, the wash and see if that does anything.

  • makeup/candlewax/butter/margarine/mayonainse/cooking oil/engine oil: pretreat with a paste of baking soda, then soak in lukewarm water with a soft chemistry washing powder.
For machine washing: add 2 tbs of baking soda to laundry detergent.

dab pure ethonal alcohol to a pain of a stain, or draw out ordinary grease stain by covering with generous sprinkling of fullers earth powder leave it for several hours. then brush off with soft bristle brush.

  • Fells Naptha laundry soap is the absolute best product for getting grease out of clothing! You can find it in a long paper-wrapped bar in the laundry section of your grocery store. It really isn't hard to find. You can grate it and, after adding water, use it as a paste. You can also simply rub the bar right onto the stain. Good stuff to have around! In fact, it even lift posion ivy oil off the skin to reduce the reaction even after itching has begun!

  • GOOP is use by mechanics to get black motor oil off their hands, It will remove oil and dirt stains and it works on cloths just fine..I buy the big canister size at Harbor Freight. Check Lowes or Home Depot . I know you can buy it is small tubes but I use the big tub. As soon as I see the spot I rub it on and place the clothes in the hamper.

the Fells Naptha works but GOOP is faster to use, as you do not have to grate it. It is possible to rub corn meal on the spot and let it set, brush off and then launder. but it is messy to do this
