What do you use to clean hardwood floors?

How do I clean my hardwood floor so ds can crawl all over it, he likes to put his mouth to everything...what product is best so he doest get the chemicals in his mouth?

  • White vinegar & water if the wood is sealed, and make sure to dry the floor well just in case there is a spot that isn't sealed well or the wood could rot. This is what I use to clean my hardwood floors and it works great. And no, your house will not totally stink of vinegar - the smell dissipates quickly.

  • I use good old fashion Murpy's soap. If I really need to make certain it is disinfected I use Green Work all purpose followed by the Murphy's Oil. My floors shine.

  • I just always used Murphy's Oil Soap. We have hardwood in the living/dining room and the kids have all grown up on it.
