What are Credits? How do I earn them?

CafeMom Answers has a Credits system that is used to reward positive contributions to the community (as well as to penalize "bad" behavior).

There are two types of credits:

• Core Credits are based on the things you do, such as posting questions and answers, Bumping questions, and voting up answers.
• Extra Credits are based on how other users rate your contributions. For example, you get Extra Credits when your questions are Bumped or one of your answers is selected as the Best Answer.

To see how many credits you have, while in Answers your credits appear in the box on the right of your page. You can also click My Answers Profile to see your stats.
