Welcome to Gospel Grooves. The place to hang out and talk about all that's going on in the modern urban gospel world. We're all here because we love rhythmic beats that make you get outta your seat backed by meaningful messages to uplift and exhort.
We are so glad you found your way over to our spot. We hope to grow a great group of women who will connect over their common bond. Take some time and introduce yourself, tell us anything you would like us to know about you!

Also, we have a Thank God it's Praise Friday (TGIPF) where we give thanks and praise to God for at least one thing that has happened earlier in the week.
The "30 day" option is active for this group. Meaning that if you don't stop in at least once every thirty days and check out what's going on, you might not be apart of the group any longer. Hi!! I'm Andrea, mom o f 4. Currently we reside in the Atlanta area.
I got into listening to modern gospel by chance. I was leaving a Wal-Mart and bought a CD off a guy that was selling his album outside for $5. Loved what I heard and tried to do some searches for him on the internet and came across a plethora of other choices.
Always looking to expand my music library and can't wait to see who everyone like listening to the most!

My name is Kelly and I am a mom of 3 girls ages 13, 11, 04. My 13 year old is Amber, my 11 year old is Jazmine and my 04 year old is Tasia. I am a graphic designer after taking 2 years of commercial art 1 year of computer graphics 2 years of animation and almost 2 years of business and marketing. I am outgoing, optimistic, kindhearted, laughable, petite, strong willed, can be short tempered (working on that), ummm....kid just upset me so can't think straight now. not to mention I don't feel good atm. Jan 1st was my first anniversary of marriage to a wonderful man. When I was a little kid I always wanted to be a singer when I grew up so as you can figure I have a wonderful love of music, I stopped listening to secular music about 2 months ago and whoa what a mind difference. I think lyrics train your mind that is why I listen to Lecrae so much through out the day since I know it is good to train my mind in. I get swept away in music like I beome part of the song. I don't know how to describe it I guess and I do know I ramble a lot since I have broncitus right now I beter go lay back down. That is my who I am, better yet who God created me to be. Oh By the way my username was supposed to be An Angels KIss some how when group created the "G" got dropped then when I finally got ahold of someone they said I would have to delete whole account including my groups. So that is how I ended up with this aweful name.

I love the name Jalisa, its so beautiful and unique! What kind of crafts do you do? I am all about the paper/stamp crafts and scrapbooking. Oh, and I love that you put watch tv in there! Welcome to the group!

Hi Jessica, we love Gospel too. My 5 year old really loves Gospel. I love Tonex's 'Make me Over'. Do yo know it?

Hello everyone! I am Sara, a 30 year old mother of 3. My babies are 17 months, 2 (will be 3 in May), and 5 (just turned on Valentine's Day). I have been married for 9 years to my wonderful dh, Antoine. He is a gospel musician, writer and producer. He has a recording studio that specializes in Gospel Music. He is also church musician for 2 churches. One is a Seventh-Day Adventist church (on Saturday), the other is a Baptist church. He is such a talented musician! I really admire his music and abilities! He is the one who really got me started liking Gospel music, including both mainsteam and local artists (including him). Before him I had barely even been to church, let alone listened to any kind of Christian music. Now it is what plays in our house and car all the time. Plus whatever project(s) he is working on in the studio play constantly! I really love that throughout all parts of my day I can be reminded that God is good and He is here with me. Sometimes, I have church all by myself. lol.
Anyway, I am glad this group is here!!
