What are your favorite groups?  Who is it that you listen to the most and what is it about them that you like best?  Is there any group that you can't go for too long without listening too?

  • My top three in a very particular order are:

Tied for spots one and two - GRITS and cam

And pulling up the reigns in third is Group 1 Crew

I really like GRITS because they make me want to move.  I can never sit still listening to them.  I love how Cam makes me relax and unwind and has such an awesome message in every song.  And G1C is just a ball of energy.  I think I HAVE to listen to GRITS and Cam daily.

    That's mine - so what's yours???

  • Ok, another one that requires time. LOL! I've heard of Grits and CAM, but I don't know that other group Andrea. I'll have to check them out to see what the buzz is.

  • My Favs are

    1. Lecrae,

    Don't waste your life

    Truth

    Live Free(I LOVE THIS ONE)

    2. Tripp Lee

Jesus Muzik(Oh My 2 fav artists together)

    Cryin Out

    Intimacy

    3. D.C. Talk

    Colored People

    Jesus Freak

I have Lecrae on ipod in computer and on cd's. I love to have his songs available when I am steering the wrong way, it helps remind me what I am going through the fight for. Tripp and Lecrae remind me where I came from and not wanting to go back to that. That is what I love most about the new Rebel cd by Lecrae. D.C. Talk is more of my time of praising Jesus.

Thanks for the links, I really enjoyed being able to just click and listen.  Jesus Freak brought me back!!! lol

I finnd that I'm not very interested in DC talk overall, a more pick and choose kinda group for me.  I download individual songs rather than whole albums, same for Toby Mac.

HEY! - Little known fact - GRITS headmen Bonafide and Coffee used to be dancers for DC talk.

  • That is interesting I didn't know that about them being the dancers, I agree I wouldn't buy the whole cd of D.C. Talk I do like those songs by them though and you are very welcome for the links
