My daughter is a Freshman in high school and is 14 years old. She is planning on going out trick-or-treating with a group of her friends, also same age/grade. I think this is ridiculous! In my opinion, she is too old.
What do you guys think? At what age did your kids quit? Are you letting your teenagers go out trick-or-treating?
Thanks!
No not at all. Our subdivision has kids of all ages. I think once they turn 16 and can drive thats when they should consider not doing it but till then let them dress up and have fun. All mine dress up and so do hubby and I we all go and have a great time so let her hand her girlfriends dress up and have fun its ok.

Hey Im 39 and I trick or treat... well sort of...lol.. let her be a kid, I dont see anything wrong, specially if its in a group.. it is kind of old to be asking for candy, but you have to admit its fun!! :)
My kids are 23 17 and 12 and they will all be going. My 23 year old will be taking out the 12 year old, and the 17 year old will be going with all of her friends around town. Yup, I am bad Mom. I let them have fun on Halloween LOL.
I think its cute! I guess at a certain age knocking on the door with other little kids may seem a little silly but I think its great your DD is doing that! It keeps them young!! My 11yo DD&17yo are still going trick or treating with the younger brother who is 7yo. My 17yo loves to wear scary mask around the little kids!!
