Twilight Obsessed: Does Your Daughter Love It for the Same Reasons You Do?

I read this article on Twilight in New York Magazine that explains why so many moms, especially older ones and middle age, love the Twilight Saga so much. The theory is that Bella cooks, cleans, cares and is very motherly and domestic -- something many moms relate to. And Edward really isn't 17, he's a super mature guy who's had over a hundred years to perfect his rap.

I feel that that is not true she cooks, cleans for her father but she really never does it for Edward. Myself and my daughter took it as a love story that is a forbidden one in itself. You want to love the fantasy of the vampire tale and the love of a human. Not once did we think that she was a motherly type more or less we thought she was obsessed with Edward and him turning her.

I didn't read the books, I watched the movie with Andrea, I liked it but didn't Love it like Andrea does.  Actually it scared me and Andrea laughed her butt off at me.
