Do they wear it all the time or only when at the pool, lake or beach?
Do they reapply often?
My 13 yr old son does when he fishes and my 11 yr old wears 30 before gettin in the pool. about 7 yrs ago my then 12 yr old DD got busy with a friend while on vacation in FL and kept avoiding me tellin her to get sunscreen on, it was almost a trip to the ER, she passsed out in the bathroom with sun poisoning and had a bad sunburn!! benadryl, ibuprofen and solarcane helped and she definetly learned a lesson
We are part spanish and they tan really well, they usually don't burn. So, they really don't wear it. This new baby will need to though because her daddy is pale as can be Irish! :-)
My dd doesn't wear it all the time but when we are swimming at the pool or lake she will put it on but rarely reapplies it.
They dont wear it constantly no matter what they are doing but if they are going to be out in the sun like at the beach or walking around a zoo or amusement park or such then they are REQUIRED to wear it and reapply it often, I have always been strict about that for health and safety reasons... health and safety are mainly the only things I AM strict about... outside of a few others.
