I'd like them to be following their dreams and doing something they love.

 Out of my house! =)

Seriously. I would like to see them through college and onto their independent lives. With the whole 2.3 kids and white picket fence.

That would make my 2 girls 24 and 28 or so. I'd like them to be:

1) fiscally sound (able to restrain from any debt and having achieved 1-2 college degrees so that there would be little concern that they are not in position to independently fund their lives, regardless of parents or any man),

2) emotionally and socially stable and capable - so that they can self-manage their own emotions, problem solve things they want to change about their lives, understand their worthiness for healthy relationships romantic and platonic, and negotiate respectfully with others when there are differences.

3) value ethical behavior in all parts of their lives

4) value family time - with sis, mom and dad!

And happy, of course, but that might be a fate accompli if they've got #1-4.

I want him to be very happy, with a job and a family that he loves.

Just happy and healthy living whatever life They wish for themselves whether that is single or married, with kids or without.  In a career or as a stay at home parent.  I truly don't care about the details, other than that they are healthy and happy and living the lives they chose and want, then that is the ideal to me.

I already know they will be beautiful good people, which is important to me bc they are already 15-23 and are exceptional human beings even now.
