I did! I ran everything from short distance to the mile...did high jump, triple jump, long jump! However; I'm very short, so hurdles, and anything that required STRENGTH, I was out on! LOL!

I didn't.  I had bad ankles and still do to this day.

DH was in track and cross country all 4 years of HS.  He ran distance events in track.  He also qualified for state meets in both track and cross country.  He has always had a lot of endurance, which really helped him in the Army when they had to do those long road marches with combat boots on, carrying full dufflebags on their backs.

I ran track and played basketball. Our basketball team was the worst.

Not me. My dd was in track for 2 years while in middle school. She was a thrower.
