My 18y/o son will be leaving for college in a few weeks and have never done a load a laundry.

Yes she does. She started regularly doing her own laundry about 6 months ago. She'll be 18 in November.

My 17 yr old can do his own and so can my 12 yr old ,but I prefer to do the laundry.

I'm real funny about other people fooling with my washer & dryer and also mopping the floor...I have no idea why

Carmagetu; my son is now 15 and has been able to do laundry for 5 years. He's not at all petite!

Lol, I'm the same way and my DS just left for college 2 weeks ago. We did a "crash laundry course" together...he called me after his round of laundry and couldn't believe how much work it was and how long it took. :)

Are they capable? Yes. Do they? No. But it's whatever....I'll do it I don't mind. They wash clothes sometimes....
