i just want to know why teenagers always do the opposite of what you say?is this just a teenage thing!!!

It's a KID in general thing I think!   Nah, I've never had any problems out of my teen - It's the 6yo that does the opposite of what I say.  Gee, I can't wait til she a teenager(cries).

Honestly I haven't had that problem with my teens.  They are usually pretty good, and always do what I say.  It might take them longer than I'd like (ie: chores) but it always gets done.    I'm lucky I guess.

Although I am having a bit of difficulty with my 13 yr old, apparently he doesn't think he has to answer me unless I text or call and form whatever I'm saying into a question.  He got a rude awakening last night.  I told him if doesn't answer me when I call or respond to a text message the next time he won't go anywhere.

It's because they already know everything so they don't have to do what you say :)
