What did you get for valentines if you celebrate it

We usually do candy but I told my husband many years ago wait until the day after and you can get me something twice as good for the same money or just as good for 1/2 the money yes I'm cheap.

So far nothing.  He hasn't even shopped for me yet.  I went to walgreens to pick up something for the kids today and it was a sausage fest in there!  The parking lot was full and I think I was the only non-employee female in the place.

From my wonderful hubby he took me out to dinner. We had prime rib and baked potatoe with a side salad and peas n carrots. It was delicious. And he also bought me candy n jewelry. My youngest dd got me a plaque that says all things are possible if you believe. Its beautiful. And my youngest ds made me this huge card. And in it he wrote happy valentines day to the best mom. My oldest 2 kids are giving me my presents after school. so i dont know what they are yet.

Normally the husband and i dont do anything.

A few days ago though, the hubby brought me home a stuffed teddy bear with reese's peanut butter cups on it and some cupcakes. Surprised the heck out of me, the teddy bear was quickly handed over to the 2 year old while i hid my candy lol

I bought the hubby crab which i will fix for him later while the kids and i have fish and chips (from scratch).

As far as I am concerned nothing...I am very upset with Marty at this point. He never does anything sweet for me!

My husband got my kids and I our own little boxes of chocolate.  I also got the kids some chocolate.  Tonight my husband and I will go to dinner.  My daughter has dinner plans with one of her single female friends.  Another one of her friends made her a huge card with lollipops attached and a heart shaped rice crispy treat and gave them to her at school.

last night we went out for dinner to celebrate.. Today I got   candy & cards from DH. A shout out on Twitter from my son wishing his "favorite Girl" a Happy valentines. and a phone call from my oldest son wishing me a Happy Valentines day. I Can't ask for more than that.

My DH and I exchanged cards, we will go out to dinner one night this week, my DD has volleyball tonight. My DS posted a web cam pic of him holding a paper heart that said Mom on it to my FB wall from his dorm room. DS's first Vday away from home and touching he thought of me, I LOVED it. :)

My SO ordered me a tablet, I get my new phone this weekend. I got him a tablet also.  For the family, we got a new dinning room table & a 60 in. Plasma tv with surround sound.   (The last 2 were because we just moved to a new house & delivery happened to be today) LOL 

We all went to dinner on Sunday since SO had to work tonight.  My DS (13 yrs) gave me a rose!
