Hello Ladies.

So my heart is broken today. Last night is the third time that I've found my son browsing for pictures of nude females over a period of about two years. We've talked about it. He saw me emotionally break down the first time because he's my oldest of three. My first born. My baby... Well, at least he WAS...

I don't know what to do anymore. I didn't even tell him that I saw it. He knows that I check his phone from time to time. What'swrong with him???? Is this natural??? Is he going to grow up and be some kind of pervert addicted to women and porn??? He's not a bad kid. He's very sweet and he loves me so much. Why does he disrespect me and all females like this????

Ladies... please help mend my broken heart!!!!

Because he's a 13yr old boy. He's curious.  I think its pretty normal.  If he starts looking up naked guys or animals having sex or people having sex with animals...then i'd worry.  lol

Very normal IMHO. He is curious. I would talk to him and let him know that the pics he is seeing are NOT how real women look. These are airbrushed and staged. Explain that (if you agree with me) Real women with morals do not pose nude. That you would prefer he didnt look at these.Mostly because you dont want him to have some screwed notion that these pictures are normal women.

Thank you ladies for your support. I guess deep inside I know it's natural. But when it happens to you the first time and the realization hits you that your baby is not your baby any longer, well.... it's enough to make any mother cry. I guess we'll just have to day it one day at a time and figure it out. I just hope that he understands the need to respect females. I try to instill morals and values in him. I guess thats really al I can do. The rest is up to him. Thanks again for the kind words of support and encouragement. group hug

I got a ds who is now 21. He still looks at naked pics. It's pretty normal for this to be happening. Just make sure that he knows that most of the women that he is looking at are not real. They are airbrushed and touched up and even had a lot of plastic surgery. This was bound to happen some day. My son started at age 11. Curiosity is normal. But, don't let your fears shut down your communication. Make sure that he understands that women are to be respected and treated well. Show him how to treat a woman by being a mom that he wouldn't dare want to disrespect. Then, if you really want to mess with his head a little, tell him that some of the women that he has been looking at are moms just like you and that everytime he looks at one of those women, he looks at a mom. That may gross him out for a little while. Good luck and blessings!

I can't help you there, I have the same exact problem with my 13 year old. At first I was so distressed because my eldest who is now 18 never acted this way. I mean I'm not naive enough to think he never looked at it, but not like my 13 year old does.

Guess what! You have a male, heterosexual son.
Now is a great time to talk to him about respect for women
