TP roll

Why can't the other members of my household see that this needs changing? Hub has a masters degree, son 13 in nerd middle school and daughter 11 going on 40 ALL seem to not see the problem or better yet how to fix it. GRRRRR!!

UPDATE: Thanks ladies for sharing my frustration. Glad to know I am not the only mom who goes NUTS over this. And for those ladies who thought it was a stupid post, it made some moms laugh which makes me :)

I could care less really.

What are you really mad about? The more you complain the less likely the are to do what you want.

DH has an idea for you if you have 2 bathrooms have them all use the 1 and only you can use the other. They will have to learn to change it or honestly suffer the stinky consequences. If you have just the one hide a role someplace only you know about and can get to easily. Then pronounce 1 time only your done changing it suffer and figure it out yourself.
Then stick with it not mention it again and let them just figure it out. You will be fine then can go stink it up if they want. They should get the picture LOL.

Drives me nuts! Worse they just take out another roll and set it on the counter or the back of the potty! Same amount of effort why not just do it???

Sooo glad its not just in my house. My hubby also has a masters, have a 13yo as well, others are 5 and younger (so, ok maybe the 3yo can't change the roll yet). But seriously drives me bonkers that no one else can change it. Hubby will call from the bathroom that he needs a new roll, but won't put it on when given to him. 13yo will ignore the fact that hers is even out & will just use tissues till those are gone too. I try ignoring it myself sometimes, hoping one of them will get the hint and change it. But, nope there will be 2 empty rolls in the garbage & one empty on on the thing & the full roll on the back of the toilet and they still won't put it where it goes. Grrr

This used to happen to me all the time until I started leaving it like that and hiding my own stash which I would take in and out with me, and left everyone else helpless.

After about a week people started changing the roll.

looks like my house..it feels like I am the only one who knows how to change the roll of toilet paper and if someone uses it up the throw a new roll on the back of teh toilet..same with paper towels..no one seems to know how to go down to the basement to grab a new roll when they use up the roll in the kitchen.

my son is 7 and when the toilet paper runs out he just tells me it's gone and i change it. i'm thinking about teaching him how to fill it though.

My kid actually used the cardboard roll one time! Then he tried to flush it! Clogged up our toilet too!
