The FBI raided the house right across the street.

The man across the street is about 60, 65 years old, I know it wasn't drugs because there were no dogs and they did not rip his house apart and they weren't  the drug task force. There were about 20 people with FBI vest on....I don't really know him becasue he moved in right before the winter and he minds his own, they didn't remove anything from the house and the only thing I know about him is he has cancer. Not knowing is not good so now I am afraid, I mean a whole lot of things are going though my mind at this point...The raid was pretty scary. Time to move...but then again they took him away in a gold car so I really don't know what to think.

Wow, that's sad...

A lawyer that lived here was raided. It was something to see.Turns out he was the mastermind of several burglary crews. His wife and daughter lived here and they all seemed normal .Active at school and all the rest. The wife tried to claim no knowledge but they had used a bedroom and their garage apt as storage. No one has that many T.V.s ,computers ,laptops ,etc. She said she thought he bought them on Craigslist and Ebay and resold them...maybe but that much and jewelry too.She was convicted also.

Poor daughter.

If he's a 60 year old biker, then likely it had something to do with his past. If they were cracking down on a bike group, the likliehood that something happened involving them was high. He may be a retired officer of the group, who knows? I wouldn't sweat too hard because that doesn't mean the neighborhood is going to hell, it just means that the past come back and bit someone in the arse. Karma is something else. Relax. Even "good" people could have a bad past. You just don't know.

My sister used to always talk noise to me because I lived in a shady neighborhood. But it was quiet, and I could afford to live there. She lives in a "nice" neighborhood and her house was broken into while she was in the house with her daughter, long before mine was (that particular house wasn't ever broken into, my next house was... once... when nobody was home).

It appears that his past has bit him in the butt, I read what he was being charged on from 1997 until about 2004...They are not good and he needed to be arrested along with the other 41...How much he is guilty of I will probably never know, it is amazing how people never show the other side.

Wow, that would be very scary to witness.  Update us when you know anything.

Actually I was fascinated with the way the FBI conducted the raid, they were quiet and they left as quickly as they came in. My neighbors and I stood out on the sidewalk watching the whole bust, they had the whole house surrounded with cars and at first each agent had their guns out, we went out when they put the guns down. The FBI had everything in control, but the man across the street walked out peacefully and they put his in the car and a few min. later he was put on the ground and handcuffed. When they raided the house they kept the door shut so I can't tell you what happened in there. They even let the dog out and put him back in before they left, as I recall I can even remember one agent petting the dog and  the dog wasn't barking at them or nothing so that leaves me to believe that everything went smoothly inside as well. I give the FBI thumbs up for the way they conducted the raid, this was a quiet raid and done without any problems....They definitely had good planning!

1 mom liked this

A neighbor across the street from our old house was busted by SWAT and I witnessed the whole thing and was pretty shaken up.    2 vans pulled up in front of my house so I was looking out to see what they were there for and 20+ SWAT team members jumped out and busted in this guys house.   We knew it was drugs because he was an obvious tweeker (up all night working on machines, obviously no job).   His wife was totally normal, went to work every day and looked like an office manager.     It always seemed like he was dealing to rich people from a few neighborhoods over..... you could tell when a super expensive car pulled up for a 15 minute exchange.

Anyhow, he was one of my favorite neighbors.   He always said hi, gave out the best Halloween candy to the kids, took in the neighbor kid who's parents seemed to totally ignore him, fixed our fence and took care of my dog when she got out of the yard and since he was up working all night in his garage every night probably deterred any other criminal activity.   I didn't feel the need to judge him because of his profession.   I am not part of that lifestyle, but he was a good neighbor and that was all that really matter to me.  Unless there is a sex offender or dangerous criminal, then I wasn't going to stress myself over it.
