When I was much younger, LOL.  Middle school and younger.  Remember playing tennis in the road in the rain with a friend once. Ruined the rackets and the balls, lol.

yes...yesterday it rained while we were on the beach and in the water...no thunder or lightening or storm clouds so we kept having fun.

All the time as a kid.  We lived in Florida and my mom didn't care if it was raining we were still sent outside to play.

In the 60s I had a white pair of go-go boots and I loved to dance in the rain!

Of course, I was much younger then!
